
Solang Valley Trekking Expedition
Day 01: Report at Manali, transfer to base camp at solang Valley ( 7,500 ft. ). Acclimatization walk. Camp fire after dinner.
Day 02: Elementary training in rappelling in pre lunch session and elementary training in river crossing during afternoon. Camp fire after dinner.
Day 03: Trek uphill to Shagaradugh ( 9,500 Ft.). Overnight in camp. Campfire after dinner.
Day 04: Trek towards Patalsu peak with packed lunch and come back to camp. Overnight in camp.
Day 05: Trek down to Kothi ( 9,000 Ft.). overnight in camp.
Day 06: Visit Rohtang Pass ( 13,500 ft.) by jeeps and afterwards transfer to Manali. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 07: checkout after breakfast.
Fee: Rs. 3800/- per person.
When can you Join: The first group will report at base camp Solang Valley on 1st May and last on 30th May 2009.
Chansel Pass ( 13,000 Ft. ) Trekking expedition
Day 01: Pick up from Shimla and transfer to Gumma base camp ( 5,000 Ft.) ahead of Rohru.
Day 02: Acclimatisation, Rappelling ans rivercrossing etc.
Day 03: Trek to Larot camp ( 7,500 Ft.). Trekking time: 3-4 Hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Murui Thach camp ( 10,500 Ft.). Trekking time: 3-4 Hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Dodra camp ( 7,000 Ft.) over Chansel Pass ( 13,000 Ft.). Trekking time: 5-6 hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Dhola camp ( 4000 Ft.) Trekking time: 3-4 Hrs.
Day 07: Transfer to dehradun.
Note: The Chansel Pass trekking expedition will be organized on alpine style for a group of minimum 15 persons.

How to Participate: Kindly contact us for the application form and forward alongwith the demand draft of the fee, favouring Trek India payable at Manali/ Ahmedabad.
How to reach Manali: Manali is about 560 Kms. From Delhi. There are overnight buses from Delhi. Semi deluxe, deluxe, airconditioned and Volvo buses are available. Bhuntar which is 50 Kms. Short of Manali is connected by air.
Participants please note:
The Programme schedule can be changed due to the unforeseen circumstances. In case of any illness during the expedition, the expences for medical treatment, travel and porter etc. to be borne by the concerned individual. Alcohol consumption is prohibited during the camp. Trek India can not be held responsible for any accident, illness or such unforeseen events during the expedition. Primary medical facilities will be available, wherever possible. Participants will be presented certificates only on successful completion of the expedition. During the expedition the decision of the Camp Director will be final and binding.
This is an environment friendly camp, therefore, please do not throw any litter while trekking.
Cancellation and Refund:
If cancelled 15 days before date of reporting 50% will be refund. Less than 15 days before date of reporting- no refund please.
You Should Bring The Following:
Rucksack, sleeping bags (if available) cotton shirts, cotton pants, woollen pullover, jacket, muffler, woollen cap, cotton and woollen socks, trekking shoes, gloves, light towel, chappals, light rain coat or plastic sheet, sunglasses ( other than blue colour ), torch with cells, water bottle, electoral powder, lunch box, petroleum jelly/ Vaseline/ cold cream, toiletries, needle with thread, ball point pen, a notebook, personal medical kit, soap etc.
