In our constant endeavor to provide an educative outdoor experience and an opportunity to develop skill and confidence of our youth in the age group of 8-18 years, Trek India is conducting Outdoor Learning Experience camp. This camp will enrich the experience of our youth and will instill a sense of responsibility, courage, team work, boost self-confidence which will help them in every walk of life in future.

THE SCHEDULE

Day 1  : Welcome to camp OLE at Kalath. We'll start our day by an introduction to the OLE team, briefing of the programme, Do's and Don'ts, Mountain etiquette and group formation.

Day 2  : Starts with morning exercises followed by a healthy breakfast. Then we'll take you for a village walk to give you an exposure of local life and culture. Post Lunch at the base camp, we'll introduce you to mountaineering equipment, practice Knots, first aid. We'll close the day with an adventure movie and camp fire after dinner.

Day 3  : We'll start the day with rejuvenating yoga. After breakfast we go for River crossing activity. After Lunch, we send you for a treasure hunt which will be followed by an interactive session on camping, post this exciting session you'll be assigned with duties and will be given the equipment for camping/survival. The night ends with 'OLEs got Talent'

Day  4 : After exercises and breakfast we leave for the jungle camp. Where you are required to pitch your own tents, self cook for the group and take charge of the responsibilities as assigned to you. Night out in the Jungle.

Day 5  : After breakfast and before leaving the campsite, we make sure that we don't have any leftovers and we clean the campsite as responsible nature lovers. After reaching the Base Camp, and after a delicious lunch, we go for rock climbing, obstacle and rope activities. It is Movie time again in the evening, where we'll watch another adventure packed movie.

Day 6  : It is a most exciting day, where we drive to the Snow point and we have fun under  the blue sky and on white snow. In the evening you will be rewarded with certificates.

Day 7  : After breakfast we say you bye on the last day, as we are sure that you'll cherish the memories for the rest of your lives.

Fee:  Rs. 4500  /- per person.

Fee  covers :
The fee covers the boarding and lodging in tents, training, supervision equipment  and a visit to Rohtang pass for the participants of the programme of Camp  OLE.

How  to  participate:
Kindly contact us for the application form or you can download from our website www.trekindiamanali.com and forward along with the demand draft of the fee, favouring Trek India Outdoors Pvt. Ltd., payable at Manali.

How  to  reach:
The base camp, Kalath is located 6 kms. short of  Manali. Manali is about 560 kms. from Delhi. There are overnight buses from Delhi. Semi deluxe, deluxe, air-conditioned and Volvo buses are available. Bhuntar which is 50 kms. short of Manali is connected by air.

Participants please note:
The Programme schedule can be changed due to the unforeseen circumstances. In case of any illness during the expedition, the expenses for medical treatment, travel and porter etc. to be borne by the concerned individual. Alcohol consumption is prohibited during the camp. Trek India cannot be held responsible for any accident, illness or such unforeseen events during the expedition. Primary medical facilities will be available, wherever, possible. Participants will be presented certificates only on successful completion of the expedition. During the expedition the decision of the Camp Director will be final and binding.

Cancellation  and  Refund:
If cancelled 15 days before date of reporting 50% will be refunded. Less than 15 days before date of reporting- no refund please.

You  should  bring the following:
Cotton shirts, cotton pants, woollen pullover, jacket, muffler, woollen cap, cotton and woollen socks, trekking shoes, gloves, light towel, chappals, light rain coat or plastic sheet, sunglasses ( other than blue colour ), torch with cells, water bottle, electoral powder, lunch box, petroleum jelly/ vaseline/cold cream, toiletries, needle with thread, ball point pen, a notebook, personal medical kit, soap etc.
